The Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) is making a major change to its industry classification: the new SBI 2025 classification. This has consequences for the company data in your CRM.
What is changing
With the introduction, roughly 75% of all registrations in the Trade Register will receive a new SBI code. That’s a far-reaching change if you segment your market based on SBI codes.
Temporary interruption
Around the time of the introduction, Trade Register products will be unavailable for a short period via the online portal and the APIs, with additional maintenance in the evening and overnight. After that, the KvK processes the updated SBI data, with the aim of having all systems fully operational again shortly afterwards.
Impact on Datasolver
Our Datasolver integration is affected by this change. We will process the updated SBI data as quickly as possible once it becomes available, so that your records are accurate again. The schedule may shift if the KvK adjusts its own timeline; we will communicate any changes via our website.
Why this matters
Up-to-date SBI codes are the foundation for sharp market segmentation. After the transition, it’s wise to review your segmentation. Discover Datasolver.
